Sistahs, Sexuality, Mental Health, & Well Being 

Join us for this special symposium where issues of sexuality and mental health wellbeing among women of color aged 50+ will be discussed. We will present research findings from a community-partnered project conducted by members of the Healthy African American Families and UCLA and hear presentations from our dynamic panel of speakers.

About This Project

STD rates in women over 50 are steadily increasing, and African American women are at highest risk. With funding support from UCLA's Centers for Excellence through the Mental Health Services Act, Healthy African American Families and UCLA collaborated on a project to address this issue in the South Los Angeles community.
